ResourceSaver was used to cost effectively post information on The Global Environment Facility's (GEF) Third Biennial International Waters Conference, June 20-25, 2005 in Salvador, Bahia Brazil. The conference reviewed GEF's global International Waters portfolio (nearly $3 billion total), shared successes and experiences, and encouraged collaboration across the International Waters portfolio.
The primary objective of the conference was to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration between participating governments, GEF International Waters projects, GEF Implementing and Executing Agencies, donor partners, and the private and non-profit sectors.
